Marmot

Marmot was started by two American climbers in the start of the 70's. In 1973 they put together their first down jacket prototypes and in 74 rumors of Marmots jackets spread all the way to Hollywood. An order of 108 "very puffy jackets" for the Clint Eastwood movie "The Eiger Sanction" was the start of what is now one of the worlds leading companies within technical outerwear for everything from street wear to extreme expedition at low temperatures and a high altitude.
