For many years after high school, Mattias Sahlin was travelling around the world, surfing and snowboarding. After a while, the time had come when he wanted to do something creative. He went back to his Sweden and founded Encore with the motivation of creating funky, surfer-inspired clothes in a country where he claims the design bears the mark of gloom and sterility.
